Passing of Curtis Lanciani Sr.

Ferriter Scobbo extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Curtis Lanciani Sr. who passed away recently. Curt dedicated his career to the public power industry. He was the General Manager of the Littleton Electric Light Department, (“LELD”) one of the founders of  the Northeast Public Power Association (“NEPPA”) in 1965 serving as President and a member of the NEPPA Board of Directors. Curt also served as the president of the Municipal Electric Association of Massachusetts, (“MEAM”). Ferriter Scobbo had the privilege of serving as General Counsel to the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (“MMWEC”) during Curt’s tenure as a member of the MMWEC Board of Directors, including his time as Chairman.

Curt not only dedicated his career to the public power industry but also after his retirement he spent many hours volunteering in the Littleton Public Schools with students at the Shaker Lane Elementary School.

Ferriter Scobbo is honored to have had the opportunity to work with Curt at the LELD, NEPPA, MEAM and MMWEC. We honor his memory through a donation to the Shaker Lane School.
