latest EpiCURE event with Dan Shaughnessy

Ferriter Scobbo & Rodophele created a charitable fund, Granger’s Changers, in support of shareholder and lymphoma survivor, Rob Granger. In order to further the firm’s efforts to support our shareholder the EpiCURE Event Series commenced at the end of 2011. Designed to give friends, clients and colleagues the opportunity to break bread at the same table and share an informal conversation with those present and our guest in government, politics, entertainment, or business the events limited to no more than twenty firm friends.

Last week, guests had the opportunity to break bread with the Dan Shaughnessy, a sports columnist with The Boston Globe. Dan shared some of the folklore of local sports programs, engaging the crowd with stories from his time as a reporter.

The ultimate hallmark of EpiCURE is raising money for cancer research. Instead of asking attendees to pay a fee for attendance, we asked for donations to the Granger’s Changers fund. Once again, we exceed our goal, raising over $2,000- our highest amount from EpiCURE to date. All donations are given directly to the Massachusetts Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Thank you to Dan and to all of our generous guests!
