commercial solar array

In June 2015, Ferriter Scobbo attorneys Michael D. Vhay and Matthew C. Campbell assisted a prominent developer and commercial property owner in forming a subsidiary responsible for the ownership, operation, and maintenance of a 724-kW solar array on one of the owner’s office developments.  The transaction included a sale of the array from its current owner and a power purchase agreement between the owner’s office building and its new energy-supply subsidiary. The solar array is expected to produce 825,000 kilowatt hours of renewable energy annually for the building and its tenants.
