client recieves good news from epa

The US Environmental Protection Agency recently informed one of Ferriter Scobbo's clients, a Massachusetts-based manufacturer that supplies critical components to the medical-device, electronics and aerospace industries, that it and other “potentially responsible parties” had completed all appropriate “response actions” for a Massachusetts superfund site.  The site first appeared on EPA’s National Priority List in the early 1980s.  Ferriter Scobbo attorneys have advised the manufacturer on its obligations under various consent decrees, and have negotiated with other parties over our client’s share of environmental liabilities, at the now-closed site, and other sites, for the last five years.
