2014 Granger's Changers

Late in 2010, Ferriter Scobbo shareholder, Robert Granger was diagnosed with lymphoma. He spent the better half of 2011 battling the disease.  The news rocked our small office as the holidays approached that year, and everyone wanted to do something to show their support.   As a group, we created “Granger’s Changers.”

Seemingly healthy for the last three years, Rob has recently received the news that the lymphoma has returned. Rob has another fight ahead of him, one which we are confident Rob will win.

This holiday season, in lieu of a firm Holiday Party and in lieu gifts, Ferriter Scobbo is donating to “Granger’s Changers”.  Over the last 4 years, through a combination of employee contributions, firm matching, generous contributions from family, friends, and clients, we’ve managed to donate nearly $50,000.00 to the Massachusetts Chapter of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Thank you, to everyone, for their continued support of a world without blood cancer.

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. More than 75% of LLS funds go to research, patient services, public health education and professional education. LLS key priorities will ensure that: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helps blood cancer patients live better, longer lives.
