Our civil litigation practice has been honed on industries that require a thorough understanding of complex legal issues and meticulous regulatory details.
For example, our Firm’s president, Nicholas J. Scobbo, Jr., serves as the general counsel to the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company and the Massachusetts Municipal Utility Self-Insurance Trust, a trust fund that provides liability insurance coverage to municipal light departments in Massachusetts. We defend municipal light departments against claims of premise liability, negligence, property damage, discrimination, environmental and employment claims, and other problems that arise for trust members.
The Firm’s litigation work also extends into the employment arena. We have successfully represented national corporations, state and municipal entities, small businesses and professionals in a variety of employment-related litigation.
