Ms. Gearty was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in November 2010. She graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in May 2010.
At Suffolk she served as Editor in Chief of the university's Law Review during which time Lauren published two articles. Her article on immigration law has been cited on the websites of Crimmigration, ImmigrationProfBlog, and Cornell University Law School's Legal Information Institute Bulletin. While in law school, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Timothy S. Hillman of the Massachusetts District Court in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Lauren graduated summa cum laude from College of the Holy Cross in 2007. At Holy Cross, she was a member of the College Honors Program and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in History as well as a minor in Visual Arts.
Lauren returns to Ferriter Scobbo & Rodophele as an attorney, after spending the summer of 2009 as a law clerk at the firm, providing her with knowledge of the firm's practice areas and clients.
Lauren will focus her practice in the areas of energy, municipal and corporate law as well as contract matters and litigation.
